In this episode we meet Ava, a 15 year-old girl from St. Louis who brings us into her process of finding her voice in the Black Lives Matter movement and the fight for racial justice as a biracial teenager. Ava gives us insight into some of the complicated spaces she navigates--her experiences of racial division in school, how representation has impacted her identity development, her complex family and friend dynamics, and her journey of finding her voice in youth activism.
