January 13, 2021 – In this episode of Food in the news, we discuss Shake Shack’s Korean-inspired menu. Available now until April 5, 2021.  The menu features a chicken sandwich with gochujang sauce and kimchi slaw. The kimchi is made by Choi’s Kimchi Co., a company based out of the Pacific Northwest in the United States.  We encourage you to try the slaw as we learned it’s founder, Matt Choi, lost his life saving his girlfriend in October of 2020.  Let us know what you think of Shake Shack’s Korean-inspired menu.
