Today's episode is with Big Leaguer Evan Marshall, a buddy and former teammate of mine in the minor leagues during our days in Double-A and Triple-A. He is currently a reliever for the Chicago White Sox and has spent time with Arizona, Seattle and Cleveland during his amazing young career. We discuss his choice to go to Kansas State from growing up in the Bay Area of Northern California and his professional career up to this point. He has some great stories about what life is really like in pro ball and how crazy it can be to get called up and down in the same day. He also shares insight in to some great moments with ceremonial first pitches and even interacting with Jason Segel, the star of Forgetting Sarah Marshall. We finish with his take on the negotiations from the Players Union and MLB and how everything worked out in the end for both sides to have a baseball season.
