Self taught musician, producer and DJ. Jacob “Willytee” Willett began mixing music a year ago with just a mouse and a computer that had sat around for over a year and four speakers pulled out of a barn. After recording the documix entitled “The Honeybear Sessions,” which consisted of ten, three hour long classic trance mixes encapsulating a transition from a dream and no knowledge to a mix that garnered 400 plays with only a mouse and classic trance cds. He then began a podcast series called the Progressively Velvet Portal that garnered a local hardcore electronic music following, accepted tutoring from Chicago house legend Davi Howard and the Houzhead Diner crew, and has developed his own unique flavor and spin on house music and music in general. Embarking on a journey to really dig into the house music culture and study and hone his craft. Thus emerging as the current maestro dropping these flame beats you hear now.
