Prof. Marc B. Shapiro’s recent essay “From the Pages of TRADITION: R. Esriel Hildesheimer on Torah Study for Women” (TRADITION, Summer 2022), was the subject of our most recent podcast. Marc B. Shapiro holds the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Chair in Judaic Studies at the University of Scranton. He is the author of, most recently, Changing the Immutable: How Orthodox Judaism Rewrites Its History (The Littman Library of Jewish Civilization), among many other scholarly works.
