Former professional basketballer turned strength and conditioning coach, Duncan Ogilvie joins us on the show today. Mark and Duncan were classmates back at university where they both completed a Masters in Sports and Exercise Science, and have both coached and worked closely with elite athletes around the world.
With over 10 years working in the industry, Duncan now sits as Director of strength and conditioning firm Do Training and performance and Director of strength and conditioning at the University of East London. In both roles Duncan supports a variety of programs and individual athletes throughout the United Kingdom.
In this episode, we focus on one special athlete under his tutelage who aims to one day to win a world championship boxing title. We discuss the training regime and how a training camp is put together in the lead up to a big fight.
