13th July 2021.

It has been confirmed that the Biden administration will not immediately lift any international travel restrictions, even if it faces growing pressure from U.S business groups and law makers. This is because the U.S has achieved tremendous success in their vaccination efforts. However, they would like to move deliberately and to make sure they are in a position to sustainably reopen international travel.

As the EU has started to roll out it’s digital vaccination certification. However, not all vaccines are currently recognized by the program.

The EU digital vaccination certificate has been designed to facilitate an easy travel process for vaccinated travellers. Over 5 Million British residents who are wishing to spend their holiday in EU countries will be affected by this. This is because Astra Zeneca’s jab has not been approved by the European Medicine Agency. They may have to follow testing and quarantine rules upon their arrival in European countries.

Fully vaccinated travellers can now freely enter the territory of Slovakia, as the country has changed its entry restrictions. They have put an end to the traffic light system, which determines the nationals of which countries could enter Slovakia, depending on country of origin infection rates.
