New Zealand has now shut the quarantine free travel bubble with Australia for two months, as there has been an increase in outbreaks of Covid-19. 

During the pandemic, the industry that has been most affected is the Tourism and Travel sector. Some countries for example Greece, Portugal and Spain rely heavily on tourism. As Covid vaccines rolled out across Europe, hopes were high for a rebound in summer tourism. Instead, the season is looking highly uncertain as the delta variant surges and there could be a possible fourth wave. But what is certain is that the Delta variant is not restricting any travel yet. 

On the other hand, the German authorities have revealed that they plan on easing the restrictions for fully vaccinated travellers entering from a country placed on Germany’s virus variant areas list.
