Ironman Wales is one of the toughest Ironman triathlons on the circuit. Despite the tough course the weather tends to not play along either. This past weekend was no different.The racing was intense, as it always is in an Ironman, but in the end it was another South African who picked up the win. He finished 30th overall and second in his age group at the Ironman World Championships in Kona in 2013 and has now picked up his maiden win on the pro circuit following a 5th place on his pro debut at Ironman South Africa in 2014.Matt Trautman joins us on this week’s Tri Talk SA to talk about the race and the win and also to share his inspiring journey into triathlon.
