Depending on what side of the debate you’re on, the total number of people killed by firearms each year in the US is between 30,000 and 40,000 people with about half being suicides.  When it comes to these deaths, the anti-gun crowd is always too quick to blame firearms and the pro-gun crowd is always quick to blame mental health.

If we want to get more people on the pro-firearm side, we can’t simply brush aside these deaths as mental health problems and move one.  To help discuss how we can do this appropriately, we’ve invited Michael Sodini with Walk the Talk America on the show.
