I (Lynanne) had no idea what severe depression really was until I read Julie's book, I See You: How Compassion and Connection Save Lives.  Obviously, I had to bring her on the show!  Julie brings a refreshing view of what life is like when you are a wife and a mother of two little kids with a debilitating mental illness. 

Hearing her story is excruciatingly uncomfortable. This sweet, passionate, loving woman is raw and real. I am in awe at her hope and resilience.  Now, Julie is the miracle-worker helping others in need, sharing in her book how she was encircled by compassion and connection.

You must get her book. Be inspired to SEE others and to LOVE them for what & who you see because your eyes are cleansed with goodness and tender mercies for your own compassion.
