I found this episode particularly interesting. I'm not sure if Staron is building an argument against liberal Christianity or just outlining the fundamentalists' ideas in the best possible light. Either way, it's a good explainer for the rest of us. What I don't understand is *why* he is stuck on whether or not everyone in the church agrees on miracles and supernatural events. He hasn't yet explained why beliefs in certain interpretations of mythical events is the MOST IMPORTANT THING about a church, as opposed to other measures, like whether or not it benefits humanity. I'm hoping that question comes up in this series, but so far, this episode is the closest we have come yet, and it fell short.
