This is hands-down the best podcast I’ve ever listened to, It’s the deep dive that we all crave as true crime fanatics I never get to see that in any other podcast, truly diving into theories, and somehow feeling like the host is sitting there telling you with emotions and all how he’s feeling as he is discovering more and more information. I’ve never been shaken to my core before by any serial killer story until this story of Israel Keys, he is truly one of the most terrifying killers, I’ve ever heard of and I don’t understand why he is not one of the most famous next to Ted Bundy, the zodiac and others, his story blows me away more than any other. He was so meticulous and there’s still so much out there that we still don’t know about the story and Josh is beyond the best guy for the job, putting clues together in a way that makes sense, he is one of the only podcasts I’ve seen that has kept humane throughout the entire podcast, knowing that there is not only a killer, but victims, his family, their families. He has thought about other peoples feelings and bringing things up that maybe he shouldn’t and you don’t really see that when people just want the drama in the nitty-gritty details. I think sometimes we get lost in the story so much that we forget that it’s true that sometimes the problem with true crime is that telling the story over and over again can be really hard on peoples families and I think that Josh does this in a way that is elegant without hurting other people. I hope that he deep dives into another case if he can’t find any more on Israel because I just can’t find anything like this podcast, I get super excited when he drops another episode, this last one mentioned my area in California and just terrifies me and makes me wonder if I maybe ever passed him on the freeway it’s insane to even think about. Truly I think what makes this story so amazing to listen to is Josh and his team, his deliverance and knowledge and research is just so much beyond what other podcasts have to offer, his reporting and feelings and everything being involved in this podcast and seeing it from different sides and different views just makes it real. It is what I want to see in true crime.
