Title: *HE LIVES AGAIN*

Theme: *THIS SAME JESUS #4*,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

*3. HIS WORKS AND PREACHINGS*

This same Jesus who was born grew beautifully and wonderfully into maturity, but He was humble, meek, gentle, and mild (Luke 2:40-52).

His works and preachings of course were the business of which He came.

Yes Christ signifies that the principal part of His works lay in preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, the Gospel dispensation on earth, the doctrines, and ordinances of it. There was a necessity lay upon Him to preach the the kingdom to other cities after preaching at a particular place ( Luke 4:43).

Sometimes His preachings and teachings came with performance of miracles and He healed diseases too. This simply shows that He was a good Lord, and casting out devils and healing sicknesses proves that He has power to take away diseases and evils from our hearts and sets us free from the world and Satan's bondage, and gives us a new heart and a new life in order to make it into the kingdom of glory.

This same Jesus preached the kingdom which was the principal work of His incarnation, and He did that purposefully and with clarity.

He preached repentance and remission of sin for salvation - He preached the gospel and that was His core work of which He came (Mark 1:14-15, 38-39; John 9:4; Acts 10:38).

Over here we clearly see the contrast between the so-called men of God, miracle workers of God of our day in the name of this same Jesus , and that of Christ's: The messages often associated with their miracles expose their work. Their jokes taken as messages from God contradict the gospel of the Lord. Their messages injure the heart and soul of man rather than setting at liberty the soul of man to inherit the kingdom. They encourage one to set his heart on earthly things, while the word teaches that we set our hearts and affections on things above and not on things below, and also deny ourselves. Whereas the the word warns us of the dangers of riches, possessions, and fame, and that we should not mistake gain to godliness (1Tim. 6:5-11).They don't preach any gospel therefore their so-called miracles and lying wonders as notified in 2 Thes. 2:9-12 cannot compliment or explain the gospel like Christ's work.

Christ healing the cripple person shows how sin has crippled us from our mother's womb, and we are not able to go the God.

He giving sight to the blind explains how blindfolded we have been by sin, the world and Satan, and therefore we can't see the glories of God. As spiritually blind people we can't view what the Lord has prepared for us in His kingdom until His word opens our eyes.

Christ resurrecting the dead means man is spiritually dead in sin and so unless the Spirit of God revives by the gospel of Jesus Christ which one hears and reposes faith in Him.So the miracles of Christ Himself and all His authenticated apostles tallied with their sermons and indeed accompanied their gospel messages. The apostles' preachings revolve around Christ's death, burial, resurrection, and judgement to come, and a rest in His kingdom of life and light. What do we hear from the so-called men of God now, you just try and compare their sermons and that of the biblical apostles of Christ and the difference is glaring and conspicuous.

*4. HIS TRIUMPHAL ENTRY TO JERUSALEM AND SORROWS IN GETHSEMANE'S GARDEN*

Brethren this same Jesus, in the last week of His life and works on the earth entered Jerusalem with a borrowed ass and colt by way of transport to fulfill the prophecy of Zechariah (Matt. 21:2-5; Zech. 9:9). Not the ass and the colt alone Her borrowed, but also: His birth place, Boats He used for preaching ministry, The place for th
