Reina Barboza, the Soul Rebel, was originally diagnosed with a malignant melanoma back in August 2 thousand ten. She had surgery to remove the tumor in her left thigh, and was sent for a trial run to MD Anderson, which is a cancer center at the University of Texas. She was claimed cancer free .............. then fast forward eight years.​Reina was rushed to the hospital for what was thought to be a ruptured appendix , only to find out with a CT scan that her liver, lungs and abdomen were full of tumors.

She was told by the ER doctor to “find God” and was admitted into the hospital.

It was in complete shock to herself and her loved ones.​After a four day hospital stay she was released and was given a full body PET scan.

She lit up like a light bulb, the cancer was in her lungs, bones, liver, and abdomen.

Needless to say, their lives changed instantly. This is her story.
