This week we chat to actor and playwright, Darrel Draper. He joins us on the show to talk about his new play “Dust and Such”, that’s inspired by his own experiences of life on a Havering Council Estate.

Darrel expresses how he has turned dreams into reality by offering first chances in professional, paid work with the intention of bridging the industry’s social class gap. And all over a few tumblers of hazelnut rum!

Darrel is currently raising funds for the next phase of “Dust and Such,” to offer quality theatre at a low cost to those from disadvantaged and under-resourced communities. If you want to support Darrel in his work, you can “buy him a coffee”, by heading over to ko-fi.com/darreldraper
