In today’s episode, we spoke with Margot Touitou, the hilarious host of Kiss and Tel Aviv Podcast, a Tel Aviv-based podcast about sex, dating, and relationships. She tells us all about how she first fell in love with Israel, and shortly after, went on to fall in love with the men of Israel because that’s naturally what comes next. We grill her about her dating life, which ranges from sexy & single to long-term to situationships to hookup buddies (‘yezizim’ in Hebrew).

She explains what it means to be a ‘Tomer’, a term she coined for the generic Israeli dude who is conventionally attractive but ends up being shallow and uninteresting once you get to know him. She also gives us some insight into the extreme Mama’s Boy, a classic Israeli guy who is suspiciously close to his mom to the extent that she just might be jealous of you. We go on to talk about the phenomenon of finding Israelis more attractive while abroad because there’s just something about meeting them outside of Israel that makes them feel like home.
