In this episode, we review M. Night Shyamalan's (The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Signs, The Village) newest film, Split.  Split is considered to be Shyamalan's full return to his horror roots.  After last years box office hit The Visit, viewers were hungry for more horror from Shyamalan.  Split stars James McAvoy and Anya Taylor-Joy.

During Trailer Trash we also discuss Michael Bay's final entry into the Transformer's series, Transformers: The Last Knight (staring: Mark WahlbergGemma ChanAnthony Hopkins), The Circle (staring: Tom HanksBill PaxtonEmma WatsoJohn BoyegaPatton Oswalt), and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (staring: Johnny DeppGeoffrey RushJavier Bardem).

During Reel Time we discuss Warner Brothers search for a new director for the next installment into the Batman franchise, after Ben Affleck stated that he will no longer be directing the film.  WB is in talks with Matt Reeves (Let Me In, Cloverfield, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), Ridley Scott (Alien, Blade Runner, Gladiator, The Martian), and Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead (2013), Don't Breathe).  Warner Brothers is also talking with Mel Gibson (Braveheart, The Passion of the Christ, Hacksaw Ridge) to direct Suicide Squad 2, which would possibly recast Jared Leto's Joker.

Rental of the Week is Disney and Studio Ghibli's Spirited Away.  From acclaimed director Hayao Miyazaki, Spirited Away won an Oscar in 2003 for Best Animated Feature.
