This WOD is a play on the classic strength program by Jim Wendler call 5-3-1

That said if you been around UAK awhile you know that we aren't always chasing load.

We are very keen at manipulating our movements or body position in an effort to accommodate the load(s) that are avail to us.

This cycle also lends itself more towards the individual looking to add some well rounded strength without doing much conditioning.

I've been using this WOD in conjunction with the Beer Belly concept to a fair degree of effectiveness.

This WOD is attempting to be equipment efficient, but using 1 pair of kettlebells (hopefully a heavy pair) to achieve a strength training stimulus in the 3 different lifts.

I think you'll agree with me, that that's a great diversity.

I've been using this WOD to expose myself to heavier weights for over head pressing but still training other attributes at slightly higher volumes that need to be trained in order for my overhead pressing goals to be realized.
