Jose Hernandez is an artist, speaker, Transformational Leader, and founder/co-founder of Inner Immersion and Immersive Arts

Jose stands apart for his vivid saturation of color, his ethereal subject matter and the calming presence of his art. A visionary with acute perception, Jose ascribes his intuition directly to his near-death experience (NDE), and there is a tangible power in his artwork. His works express deep sensuality and emotion, uplifting and transmuting this energy to transcendent forms of color and light.

Inner Immersion was created as a breakthrough modality based on Jose’s art and is an invitation to share the personal transformation and freedom Jose found in his near-death experience. To date, Jose has worked with over a thousand people in Inner Immersion workshops. He has had great success as a ‘cross-over’ modality working with addiction, PTSD, releasing blocks and trauma, as well as in the personal development and transformational fields.

Jose transformational art has exhibited in galleries across the US and Canada. His work hangs in private and corporate collections worldwide and in permanent installations in the Prestigious Cleveland Clinic collection, the Nicklaus Children’s Dan Marino Outpatient Centre in Florida, and other healing centres across the US and Canada.

Jose has also co-founded Immersive Arts, a collaborative of art, design, and medical professionals working with corporations, health care organizations, and individual and corporate donors. Immersive Arts creates sanctuaries and other contemplative spaces, providing immersive, "living" art to foster a calming, healing and centering environment that cannot normally be directly or immediately experienced from within the confines of interior work and healthcare care settings.

Jose is a member of the Association of Transformational Leaders. He lives in British Columbia with his wife, Anastasia, and their youngest daughter, Gabrielle. He travels regularly to speak on his near death experience and on the effect of art on healing and wellness. A profile of Jose’s experience and work is featured in the Netflix Docuseries, "Surviving Death."
