This week, Richard and Ryan interview Dr April Beisaw.

Bio: Dr. April M. Beisaw is an archaeologist who specializes in America's recent past. She is currently investigating how urban water systems impact distant rural communities whose lands are cleared for reservoirs. As a professor of anthropology, April teaches courses on Native American culture, museum ethics, and forensic anthropology. Lectures for her archaeology seminar, Ruins and Haunting History, are available on Youtube. Her most recent book is Identifying and Interpreting Animal Bones: A Manual, published by Texas A&M University Press. April lives and teaches in the Hudson Valley of New York and spends most of her free time exploring landscapes by bicycle.
