The United States holds 25 percent of the world's prisoners. That is not a good look for a country that aims to be a beacon of freedom around the world. Today we talk about criminal justice reform in America, and the recent endorsement by Donald Trump of the FIRST Step Act. 

Weldon Angelos knows from experience, how the system works inside and out. After his 50+ year sentence was cut short by the benevolence of a prosecutor who put him away, Weldon has worked to change the way the system works. He joins the podcast today alongside Molly Davis of the Libertas Institute to talk about the what future holds for reform
