I liked the book by the same name. The podcast is well done in adding details in how the research was obtained and how people were unfortunate enough to have been affected by the pure evil that entered their lives.

If you’re a fan of HBO’s True Detective then this True Crime podcast is definitely for you (and no advertisements to boot). Incredible detective work, and ‘man’s best friend’ is involved throughout. The co-hosts work well, and sound good together. You get the police perspective from one, and the haunting experience of being the youngest victim’s classmate from the other. It’s absolutely heartbreaking, but also inspiring to hear the victims loved ones recall them fondly. I lived in Yonkers most of my life, and knew little about the case until now. I’m doing my own research on their “Silence of the Lambs” connection, but they certainly made a case for it.
