I am very close to my parents and siblings. I do not talk to most of my aunts, uncles and cousins because I refuse to comply with their toxic ways. I am the oldest out of all my cousins and first generation Mexican raised in the U.S. I had to endure so much as a teenager due to having two cultures. I was everyone’s translator and in a way also their Guinea pig.
