Learning the difference between wanting to leave a relationship because it’s the wrong relationship and wanting to leave because your avoidance gets triggered is fucking hard. But it starts by observing your patterns, clocking them…and when you feel yourself want to run, you choose to lean in instead.
It’s hard. It’s terrifying. And you’re not always going to get it right. But coming from someone who used to avoid ALL THE FUCKING TIME…it’s worth doing to work to make it happen.
