Paul English is a serial entrepreneur, dedicated philanthropist and the Co-Founder and CTO of Lola.com.Widely regarded as one of the top entrepreneurs in Boston, Paul is best known for co-founding travel metasearch engine Kayak, which was acquired by Priceline for $1.8 billion in 2013. At Lola, he oversees product strategy, definition, design, and development, working closely with customers to make sure that Lola’s newest features are well received by users, and that they become “must haves” not “nice to have”. A programmer-turned-entrepreneur, Paul build and sold several startups early on in his career, including Boston Light Software, which was bought by Intuit for $33.5 million within seven months of its founding, and another startup that made anti-spam software that sold for $25 million. Paul is also deeply involved in philanthropy, with some of his current work including giving more than a million dollars a year for education in Haiti; giving to homelessness in Boston and supporting a collaborative effort to create a memorial to Martin Luther King Jr. in Boston among many others.
