Chiropractics draws a lot of criticism. You’ve probably heard that you can’t just see a chiropractor once, you have to keep going back. Some MD’s will tell you chiropractics is pseudo-science. Recently The Outline published a piece titled “Chiropractors are Bullshit.” (https://theoutline.com/post/1617/chiropractors-are-bullshit) The piece claims chiropractics was created after the founder participated in a seance. Dr. Heather Bourdon (@unbrokenchiropractic) is a chiropractor with a balanced view on both the history and future of the practice.

Bourdon grew up playing sports. As a teenager, she developed a love for weight lifting. She earned her degree in Exercise Science and planned on being a personal trainer. However, early into that career, she realized a greater need among her clients, mobility. So, she became a chiropractor.

In this conversation we address that seance thing, the rift between chiropractors and medical doctors, truly bullshit celebrity chiropractors and her vision for the future of the practice.
