Dr Michael Hirt with the Center for Integrative Medicine says we're dreaming more..because we're sleeping longer during the shutdown. And we're remembering more of the dreams, as well. He adds that dreams occur during deep (REM) sleep...and that's a good thing...because it leaves us more refreshed in the morning and ready to take on the day. It's especially good if we're 'creative types'...because the dreams may inspire us in our work. However, he adds that if those dreams become nightmares...we should seek professional help.
