Topic: Prospects and Challenges for Peace on the Korean Peninsula in Light of Recent Developments
2020, the “year of the rat”, has been quite eventful, if not disruptive on the Korean peninsula. Most notably the coronavirus has created a global economic recession that has impacted the Korean peninsula, despite the high marks that South Korea gets for its adept handling of the Covid-19. Suffice to day, the Korean peninsula has been a focus of global attention.
