Jazzi Johnson is a podcast producer, scriptwriter, editor, researcher and manager. She started her career in media over a decade ago as a digital journalist working for publications such as BET, Essence, NBC, The Grio, Teen Vogue, Yahoo! News and more, progressing from writer to editor to manager. Similarly, since moving to LA, Johnson has harnessed her creative passion in podcasting from entertainment, music, and politics to true crime and fiction. She began as an early adopter of podcasting as a host in 2014, and later found her footing in its creative direction and production. With a vast interest in topics and categories, she prioritizes the content of marginalized stories and interests, including women, the Black Diaspora, people of color, disabilities, and LGBTQ focal points.
