SANMARGAM (THIRUMANTHIRAM Part 8)- Discourse by Gurudev Sri Swami Brahmananda Giri. Gurudev explains Thirumanthiram 1478. The end of spiritual sadhana is the experience of the ultimate reality or Shivam as Divine Light, beyond which is inexplicable. This is Sanmargam. All demigods became as such through Sanmarga. To explain Gurudev tells the story of Adimudi Thedal. The most important sadhana in Sanmargam is the practice of Jeeva Karunya, Unconditional Compassion to All Living Beings. This will emerge only when we see our own soul in every living being. Lord Buddha was a great example. The Practice of Sanmargam develops the Jiva-Jyothi or Light of Life. Initially it will be experienced as a small dot, Bindu. The devotee meditates this light and in time this light expands to engulf the entire universe. This Light is God. When you follow Sanmargam, you become Shiva.
