On this episode we are talking about National Pet Obesity Awareness Day. Did you know that as of 2019, 59% of Cats and 55% of Dogs, are obese! A few other fun facts courtesy of the Association for Pet Obesity Prevention are that 30% of Pet Owners feed Grain Free, 30% feed Raw (like me!) and when it comes to purchasing their pet's food, 24% will buy online or at a small retailer, 20% will buy from a large retailer, 15% will purchase from their grocery store and 10% will purchase food directly from their veterinarian. Which, 37% of Americans will only purchase their pet's food if it is made directly here and if it' is free of fillers like corn, soy and wheat. Both Glenda and Kim are the real, dog moms of las vegas as they each run their own small business. Glenda runs Dogtopia which is a daycare and boarding facility that also offers spa treatments like blueberry facials or nail trims just not haircuts! Kim runs The Wagging Tail, a Pet Grocery and Supply store and she happens to be MY personal retailer!
