• Senior Sergeant from the Merredin Police filled us in on the cases of vandals causing damage in town, both at the Pioneer Cemetery and at the Vietnam War Memorial in Roy Little Park, there is good news in that the culprits have been found.
• Whilst Regional Development Minister Alannah MacTiernan was in town, the question of funding cuts to CRCs couldn't be avoided and she has said cuts need to be made to cater for “really, really important” investments.
