Please welcome Ms. Adalgisa Rivera. She is known as Lisa or Bosslady2. This is Ms. Lisa narrative.
I am a 33 year old divorced Afro latina MSW with 11 years experience in child welfare. I used to be the skinny Dominican girl until I let my internal emotions be transferred through eating and not caring for myself. I allowed myself to gain over 170lbs and was the unhappiest I had been in life.
Once the bubble of reality of my life settled in, change began and my fitness journey began and few months later I joined the movement called Harlemrun. I am currently a pacer for run-walkers for roughly 2 years now and have been with Harlemrun since July 2015 as a member.
Thanks to Harlemrun I have written blogs and/or been featured in Harlemrun website, ESPNW online, and Women Running Magazine online.
