THE GREEN ROOM - the last room an actor or performer passes through before "show time"
GR first guest is the accomplished young actor and activist HUDSON YANG
Hudson Yang, named by Variety, The Wrap and other publications as a rising star to watch in young Hollywood, spent six years as irrepressible protagonist Eddie on ABC’s historic Asian American family sitcom “Fresh Off the Boat”.
They chose to go out on top rather than wonder when it would be over.
“I don’t think it actually was about Constance,” Yang said. “We were told that if we could get extended, but only for like a couple episodes and we didn’t want to go on next year and be canceled midseason because then we wouldn’t have a finale. So we decided this year we owned it and have a “finale” finale we’re happy with. We wanted to end it off properly.”
Yang is an investor in Sorry Not Sory, a restaurant in Los Angeles, California that serves New asian fusion American food through a Vietnamese lens. Sorry Not Sorry is a playful rosé-wine and cocktail-forward beer garden and restaurant. We serve fresh takes on garden party menu classics and alcoholic beverages to-go. Our 4000 square foot open air back patio provides a "safer outside" space for you to enjoy perfect L.A. weather. Join us for date night, family night out, a quick drink, or a casual hang. Welcome to your West LA “Local”… Yang sees it as a start on his own pathway to potentially becoming a chef, a dream inspired by his grandmother and her cooking.
