Electronic dream pop band Monakr is a Chicago “super group” comprised of members of Hey Champ! and Gemini Club and fronted by talented singer and songwriter Matthew Santos. The band’s introduction to the world is their debut EP Calling Out. It is a heartfelt journey through a collection of songs dwelling on the theme of personal loss, all the more amplified by powerful vocal melodies and groovy lush synth arrangements.
