Where mental health and self-care are being talked about and addressed on a much wider scale these days, many women still find it difficult to do things for themselves that simply give them joy or some time to themselves. Despite there being countless pieces of evidence that putting yourself first - however that looks for an individual - is meant to be good for you, there still seems to be a stigma of some kind surrounding it. In this episode, we talk about our own experiences as British Asian women and how we have tried to overcome this notion that we should put everyone else before ourselves.
