DISCLAIMER: This is entirely a working theory. I am a work in progress in my education of unlearning gender terms. If I have misstepped, do tell me.
Today's episode is a short and sweet musing about how the Christian faith unknowingly prescribes to a transitioned God. As the creator of all life, we would assume God has female reproductive anatomy – a uterus – or that which houses and grows all human life. Yet, devoted followers of Christianity refer to God ONLY as he/him.
I very much believe in a non-binary God, but since dogmatic faiths tend to think in black and white, the logic leads one to believe that God is indeed a female. But identifies as a man?! Ironic, since so much transphobia comes from the Christian church.
