Then Nazarina has a little surprise, because her resident media scholar, Richard Mwakasege Minaya, Ph.D., interrupts the podcast's airwaves to help us celebrate LatinX/Hispanic Heritage Month, and REC's scholar-in-residence, Katie B., shares her archival knowledge to help Elysia declare the origins of Detroit's Ruth Ellis Day.
