Rejection is part of life; that’s the way that it is.
The biggest shock that we tend to have is that we still react when rejected, surprised that it occurred in the first place.
POINT #2: Getting Surprised
Rejection is not the problem; the problem is in being surprised when rejection occurs for trying something new.
Most of us reject that which is new because we are more comfortable staying with the status quo.
POINT #3: Cataclysmic Embrace
You can prepare yourself for rejection by learning how to embrace the rejection.
In embracing rejection, it no longer has the same effect because you’re now able to manage the rejection.
QUESTION OF THE DAY:
Where in your Core 4 (body, being, balance and business) are you accepting the conversation of rejection in a negative way? You’re not learning from the rejection and it’s continuing to slap you around.
CHALLENGE OF THE DAY:
Write in your War Map (journal) WHY you are continually surprised by the rejection that occurs in your life.
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
“Being part of this game called life is the fact that we will all be rejected. It’s not a matter of if but when, and yet we think that rejection is not supposed to occur. What if rejection was just part of reality? When we are willing to embrace the rejection instead of become surprised that the inevitable rejection occurred, then we are able to see all of our experiences in life as a gift to help us become better.”
