The similarities between a news article and a family member bring about the success that’s experienced which also brings huge exposure.
There is an attack on who you USED to be even though you’re currently celebrating what you have done at this time.
POINT #2: We’re All Racist
It’s a fact that every single human being is racist to some degree or another because we all judge; there is no exclusion to this.
We see things that we don’t otherwise see by passing judgment, yet we are held to who we were and once in the limelight, everything we’ve possibly done suddenly gets scrutinized.
POINT #3: Being Held Hostage To Who You Used To Be
There are some people, including family members, that still hold us hostage from things that we’ve done over 20 years ago, which in turn holds us back from further growth.
Choose to be something different today if there’s something from the past that you don’t want to repeat. Our greatest power is in the present moment.
QUESTION OF THE DAY:
What are you still holding onto from your past? Where in your Core 4 (body, being, balance and business) have you not given yourself permission to grow because you ?
CHALLENGE OF THE DAY:
Let it go. The fastest way to let what’s been holding you back is by sharing it with someone else.
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
“We become addicted as human beings to looking in our past from the wrong angle by trying to find evidence that it’s not right to be who they are today. I’m going to have you consider that our past was driven by the reality of our growth. The past is the past, yet are addicted to becoming stuck there rather than see the lessons that it taught us to become the person that we are today.”
