- In this episode we discuss how to transcend our past, or better, how to use our past to transcend ourselves. We get into how we can get caught in the past and how that can be weaponized against our ability to be present. As human beings we make meaning about nearly everything and often those meanings are not always serving us. We also make patterns out of the events that happen in our lives and attempt to use those perceived patterns to predict our futures. This can be valuable and serve us, but it can also limit us and make us play small in our lives. So the real question is... who do you want to be now? That is up to you to decide not based on your past, but based on your inner truth that is free from the events of your past or from who you have been.
