Depression and desperation are two things that today's youth struggle with on a daily basis.  The Hanging Tree is a fictional tale dealing with very real topics that are still considered taboo to discuss freely.  In this episode, we are given a special treat as the author will be reading instead of me! As my typical theme is to feature people that have been dead for nearly a century, this is a huge break in form as Beck W. is not only alive, but sitting at the beginning of their literary journey.
