Raya Reaves hit her financial rock bottom while living in Los Angeles. She came home one day to discover a letter taped to her door, "Pay your rent or you're out."

She knew she needed to make some tough financial changes, but she was able to build up an emergency fund, pay off her debts, and finally start saving for the future.

Since she was able to figure out her finances, she realized that a lot of other women probably needed her help too, she decided to start her company, City Girl Savings to help others get to their money in order.
