This is the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, one of the biggest and most active music research centers in the world dedicated to preserving American vernacular music. It is also recognized as the biggest repository of country music artifacts in the world. It holds instrument demonstrations every week and follows a hectic schedule of educational programs, one of which is Words & Music. This program is a flagship songwriting class for schools. Also, the museum is behind CMF (Country Music Foundation) Records, a Grammy-winning re-issue label. It also holds the biggest and widest international music compilation. This includes not only those that have been popular in social media and television, but also those that were performed in school, and special events. Even books and music records are compiled in this location. It was in 1964 when the museum started collecting, preserving, and publicizing music artifacts and anything that relates to the music industry—not just in the US, but also worldwide. It wasn’t until 1967 that this building was erected and the Country Music Foundation (CMF) began displaying the collections in the museum. The building was renovated and expanded three times in order to house an even larger collection including costumes, historic and valued instruments, and artifacts. Today, the museum has doubled its original size to 350,000 sq. ft. and is open for local and international audiences. It boasts its avant-garde facilities and the huge compilation of music art galleries, as well as education classrooms, showrooms, retail stores, and even event space are what you can see inside this huge music museum. Popular expansions that were added in CMHOF are the 776-seat CMA Theater, rental spaces for different events, and the ever famous Taylor Swifts’ Taylor Swift Education Center.Photo Country music hall of fame2 by Sean Russell is licensed under CC BY-SA 2.0
