Welcome back to We’re Not Your Mothers with Barb and Beth! Today, we are finally sharing our much-anticipated wedding episode with you! If you’re an avid listener of our podcast, you may know that we’ve been getting a lot of questions asking for advice about any and all aspects of weddings and you may also know that we have lots of opinions about weddings, especially in this day and age.
As a result, in this episode, we will be discussing a parent’s role in their child’s wedding, a parent’s expectations for their child’s wedding, and the potential compromises between a child and a parent on their wedding day. Besides this, we’ll be sharing our advice to a listener whose mother doesn’t want to attend their wedding due to her ex-husband’s new girlfriend. While everyone experiences divorce differently, we think it’s important that parents don’t put their child in a position where they can’t enjoy their wedding day. Last but not least, we’ll give our advice to a listener who experienced some wedding drama with their mother-in-law. Enjoy!
