Welcome to We’re Not Your Mothers with Barb and Beth! Today, we are so happy to be back and updating you on some of the things going on in our lives lately. From Las Vegas trips to book clubs and bad habits, we’ll let you in on what we’ve been up to while sharing some funny stories from our past.

Besides this, we’ll, of course, be offering our advice on some of your questions including whether a woman should change her last name after getting married and what to do about your kids’ last names. Should you hyphenate? What if the kids kept their mom’s maiden name? What about using their mother’s maiden name as their middle names? We’ll discuss! In addition, we’ll also chat a bit about pronouns and how it really doesn’t hurt to try your best to get it right. While changing how you speak and think is difficult, it’s important to remember that it’s everyone’s right to choose how they’d like to be referred to.
