If you're a horror nerd searching for an entertaining and irreverent podcast, Werewolf Ambulance will give you that with all the ferocity of a toddler in the midst of a meth and pixie sticks fueled frenzy.Each week, Alan and Katy (spelled correctly) allow us to witness their slow yet inevitable descent into madness and despair while reviewing some classic, and some regrettable, horror films. No stone is left unturned in the search for hunky 80's dad bods, movie punks and the occasional just spot on "Come to Daddy" Uncle Frank impression. Come for Savini Watch! Stay for their enduring love of the genre, the endearing friendship and the quick wits of the hosts. And also Allen's giggling and Katie's heavy farts.I couldn't love this podcast more, or the pair behind it. They are two of the most entertaining and genuine lovers of horror in podcasting. Werewolf Ambulance deserves to be the number one podcast in Scandanavia in perpetuity.

An absolutely brilliant show. Katie and Allen are hilarious; but more than that, their love for the horror genre—at its best and at its worst—is evident in every episode. If you love horror movies, this is absolutely the podcast for you. And if you can't actually stand to watch horror movies (like me), this is ALSO the podcast for you: Katie and Allen lay out everything that makes the genre wonderful and fascinating and meaningful, while abstracting their topic enough that it's comfortable for everyone.

The only podcast I ever stuck with and have been burning through the library of episodes since Jan 2021. I wish I found this sooner, hilarious and informative even though the policy is it's better to be fun than know things. I love the 70',80's, early 00's of horror and maybe the greatest year on record is 1999.

Awesome podcast. Allen and Katie are great. They make me laugh every week. I listen even if I have never seen the movie they are reviewing.

I can't stress enough how delightful this podcast is. My boyfriend is a horror movie diehard while I am just getting into the genre, and this podcast has really added a layer of fun to watching horror together because Katie and Allen are having such a blast too. I'll watch movies I would never try otherwise, and their different tastes bounce off each other in a very fun way. The conversations range from interesting discussions about why something is scary to utterly goofing off, so there's a lot to grab onto no matter how much you go into an ep knowing or not knowing. I also appreciate that they can laugh along with absurdities like random boobs in 80s movies, but they won't let things like cringey stereotypes off the hook, it just feels really welcoming and thoughtful. Their action movie eps on Patreon are also wonderful! I highly recommend.
