In the early 80's Steven Spielberg was hard at work undermining the very concept of a PG rating. Between Poltergeist, Gremlins and Temple of Doom, his little mischief factory had given the MPAA reason enough to invent the very concept of PG-13. These films were just unsettling enough to get under anyone's skin without being so explicitly gory that audiences had to be capital-R restricted.
Neither Swinky nor JJ have seen this film so they're both allowed to guess the plot until their heart's content. And, guess they do, however wrongly.
Poltergeist stars Craig T. Nelson, Jobeth Williams, Heather O'Rourke and the absolutely inimitable Zelda Rubinstein. How do you like that list of names, google search engine optimizers!
