Thanksgiving . Like everybody (we hope), it's just us this year. So being that neither of us couldn't care less about the bird... no bird. We do care about our Italian roots, though!  Elaine is making the escarole soup with little meatballs. Fried up the meatballs and sausage for the "gravy" (go Philly.)  Travis is making  ravioli, Italian stuffing, and shrimp cocktail, or as Donald Sutherland calls it, shrimp "caulktail." Travis is making deviled eggs, and Elaine is making stuffed jalapenos wrapped in bacon. And of course... "We got pie!" (see Toby Huss in Carnavale to get the reference!) Lemon Merangue and Cheesecake, because we also don't care about pumpkins either! Pix to come!
Next week we'll go back to regular binging and purging-yeah, The Crown (ouch) and The Undoing and Fargo probably. But it's Thanksgiving weekend and since you are making tiny feasts and have no visitors, movies and revisiting old TV is on the menu.

Sarah Paulson is excellent as always and newcomer Kiera Allen is worth a look.
Much better choice along the same lines. The Act is also on HULU.
Tom of Finland  (HULU)
This one is absolutely brilliant, so save it for after dinner and def after the kiddies go to bed.
